The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has spoken about the his style of play when it comes to having a striker on his team.

Guardiola was speaking in an interview which was made available on the official Twitter account of Football Daily on Sunday, August 21st, 2022. According to the Spaniard, he had always played in all his team with a traditional number 9.
I play all my career with a number 9, sometimes they drop deep, sometimes play more high but I played with Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, Samuel Eto'o, Thierry Henry, David Villa and Erling Haaland.
He also spoke about how he will play Haaland in the team, and if he will play up front run the Manchester City squad.

He is an incredible player but when the opponents are all I'm front of him, he can drop but when the holding midfielder is there then there is no need to drop.
