Barcelona FC Complete its First Signing of the Transfer Window

Barcelona Football Club have confirmed their first signing of the summer transfer window ahead of the new football season (2022/23).

The Cataluyna club confirmed the signing of Franck Yannick Kessie on a free transfer from AC Milan at the end of his contract with the Serie A. According to reports from Barcelona, the defender's buy-out clause has been placed at £500,000 and he is expected to stay at the club until 2026.

The Laliga side are expected to unveil the player on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022. Barcelona are also set to confirm the signing of Andreas Christensen on a free transfer from Chelsea Football Club.

The club also have the transfer saga of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich and Frenkie De Jong who might be leaving to join Manchester United.
