The Jersey unveiling was published on the official website of Barcelona on Monday, June 27th, 2022. According to the club, the colour of the jersey was inspired by the gold colour of the Olympics, it focuses on some of the most iconic elements of the Games, such as the Olympic rings and gold medals, the most treasured of all Olympic items and which athletes from all over the world strive to win.

This golden colour also symbolises all the values ​​that go into winning an Olympic gold medal, such as tenacity, ambition, effort and the constant quest for self-improvement, and also how gold medal winning athletes set the standard for others to aspire to.

Super Falcons forward player, Asisat Oshoala was part of the players that starred in the jersey unveiling. Other players included in the party include the club's Men's team players, Pedri, and Gerard Pique.
