As cliché as it sounds, Love is very complicated. What makes it even worse is when it is not reciprocated.
After a slew of remarkable singles, rising Nigerian dancehall musician Dizaya knows what it is all about to share love and be deserved of the same love in these uncertain times in his much-anticipated debut E.P titled “Love Deserved”.
Dizaya brings a different style to the growing Reggae/dancehall scene. Following his 2021 lead single ‘Never Give up’ he now gifts us a new release that will convert anyone into a believer.
With production primarily at the hands of Dwill, BigDre, and Kopji Da Beat Killer and adapting to dancehall stylings for songs like “Like that” featuring talented singer-songwriter Banke and “Party” featuring Nigerian mainstream rapper Chinko Ekun.
Throughout the Ep, Dizaya confidence radiates through in the sonic form, and he delivers the perfect songs for lovers’ scorn, smitten, or seeking, and tracks like ‘party’ is probably the song everyone will keep coming back to.
With 5-tracks and a runtime of 13-minutes, that’s all the time needed to showcase Dizaya’s explosive talent. There wasn’t one dull moment in this project from start to finish.
