Real Madrid's midfielder, Eden Hazard is set to undergo anther surgery on his right leg.

The news was confirmed on the official website of Real Madrid on Friday, March 25th, 2022. According to reports from the club, Hazard will undergo surgery to remove the osteosynthesis plate on his right fibula.

The 31-year-old has spent more time with the doctor than he had on the pitch since he move to the Santiago Bernabeau since moving from Stamford Bridge in 2019. Real Madrid broke their transfer record of €110 million to bring the Belgian to Spain.

Hazard has failed to live up to expectations having scored just six goals in 65 appearances across all competition for the Galacticos. This is his 16th injury since he joined Real Madrid.
