#AusOpen: Nadal Reaches His 36th Semi-Final of a Grand Slam

Rafael Nadal survived a scare from Denis Shapovalov to advance to the semi-finals of the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Nadal won the first two sets of the game but Shapovalov came back into the game by winning the next two sets which ensured the game got into its fifth set.

The game ended 6-3,6-4,4-6,3-6,6-3 in favour of the Spaniard. This is the 36th time Nadal is reaching the semi-final of a grand slam. He needs two more wins to reach win his 21st Grand Slam title.
