Lewis Hamilton Set to Decide on His Formula 1 Future

Mercedes Formula 1 driver, Lewis Hamilton might not return for the race season which starts in March 2022.

BBC Sports reported the news on its website on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022. According to reports, the Brit might not return until he sees the result of an inquiry after the Abu Dhabi Prix in December 2021.

Hamilton lost the chance to win his eighth championship title to Red Bull's Max Verstappen after the race director, Michael Masi did not apply the rules correctly during a late safety car period.

Mercedes have decided not t speak about the decision of their driver. According to reports from the construction company, Hamilton has lost trust in the governing body following the incident at the final race of the season.

Hamilton and his teammates are said to be waiting to see what action the FIA takes to address the matters raised by Mercedes at the race in Abu Dhabi.
