"R.I.P Uncle Tijani!... " - Davido Mourns Bodyguard & Friend Of 11 Years

Nigerian superstar, Davido has been thrown into mourning after losing his dearest bodyguard and friend, 'Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan' popularly referred to as 'Uncle Tijani' whom he has enjoyed an 11-year relationship with.

Revealing he is tired of being strong, Davido finally expressed his grief via social media on the 9th of December 2020, taking a short trip down memory lane to reveal the important role "Uncle Tijani" has played in his life for the past eleven years; from ensuring he's ready for a show to making sure he gets to a show even when he doesn't feel like it. He expressed:

Tell me I'm dreaming, my Tj is gone. What am I going to do without you Uncle Tj ehn? For 11 years you did all for me, put me before you at all times. All the times I didn't wanna wake up for a show or a flight, you will carry me like a baby in the car. No matter what I did right or wrong, you were there for me, to allow me spend my money na problem. Every time, 'David don't worry I will use my card'. You were such a big person with a big heart. Everyone loved you, I wanna wake up late for a show so you’d come and carry me again. I don't even know what I'm typing man...R.I.P Uncle Tijani... I'm tired of being "STRONG".

 'Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan' aka, 'Uncle Tijani had reportedly passed on on the 8th of December 2020, after being ill for a while. He was 36 years old and was survived by his wife and children.
