Shorunke Babatunde ,aka SaLeM who hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State is a graduate of the University of Ibadan. He was born on the 21st of January.
He had loved music from a young age but never knew it would become a passion and career choice until he got into the university where he developed his music artistry.
He is a prolific songwriter, instrumentalist and producer, he has been in the Nigerian music landscape for quite a while doing back-up vocals and giving production supports to many notable Nigerian musicians. SaLeM is a unique musician who can hold his own on any platform.
His music is inspiring, philosophical and irresistible that makes one practically addicted to his sonorous voice. He prefers to call his brand-of music Urban music. Awon OseLu is a Yoruba folk song which speaks about politicians who make many promises before elections ,but who, of course, don't fulfill any when elected into office.
