NotjustOk Top 20 Songs of 2012
About 17,000 of us voted and the numbers are finally out. As you will see below, I think it is quite accurate in relation to what most of you have probably imagined. Either way the results were pulled directly from the amount of votes each song got and the song that got the most votes is number 1 and the song with the 20th highest took the 20th position.

1. Iyanya – Kukere

Iyanya delivered a monster, national hit which is now travelling outside the country and continent. Whenever this song came on you were filled with joy and demonstrated it by either attempting to do the Etighi dance or passionately reciting the entire song from start to finish. Big Congratulations to Iyanya.
2. 2face - Ihe Neme

Surprised to see it at number 2 but, it is a very enjoyable track and the visuals also made the song sound better.
3. Davido - Dami Duro

Dami Duro as you know is popular across the Nigeria and also the African continent which is why he won the Kora Award for Best Newcomer Award in the African continent.
4. D'banj - Oliver Twist

5. Burna Boy - Like To Party

The western influenced production and local, but skillfully delivered lyrics made the song extremely catchy among music consumers and party folks.

7. Brymo - Ara (Wonders)

Baddest Boy was the first single off the EME compilation album and you know every Naija music lover had to fall in love especially because it was a solid single.
9. Chuddy K - Gaga Crazy

Every DJ played this song at least twice every Friday and Saturday night for the most part in 2012. The video was also exceptional and innovative (concept wise) for Nigeria.
10. Naeto C ft D'banj - Tony Montana (Remix)

Naeto C continues to stay relevant as a rapper and exceptional song writer.
11. P-Square - Chop My Money (Remix) ft Akon & May D

12. Wizkid – Azonto (Freestyle)

The single took off and dominated airwaves, digital downloads and clubs in Nigeria.
