Chelsea FC's Graham Potter Reveals Why Gallagher Was Removed After 14 Minutes

Chelsea FC's head coach Graham Potter has revealed why Conor Gallagher was subbed off early into the premier league match against Brentford.

Chelsea FC's manager Graham Potter in his press conference has revealed why Conor Gallagher had been replaced by Mateo Kovacic in Chelsea's midweek premier league fixture against Brentford on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Potter revealed that Gallagher had been sick therefore forcing Chelsea to take the decision of removing him early in the game.

He revealed:

'Conor’s trained today so he’s recovered, so we’ll see how he is over the next 24 hours. But apart from the long-term absences we’re pretty much as we were.’

Potter however shared the good news that Gallagher had trained with the team today, Friday, October 21, 2022 and he would be available for the fixture against Manchester United on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Potter opened up that the injury situation still remains the same with no new injury concerns for the club ahead of the blockbuster fixture,
