Nigerian superstars, Davido and Wizkid have been billed to perform for NPR's popular "Tiny Desk" in celebration of this year's Black History Month.
The event, which is virtual, kicked off on the 2nd of February with artistes performing from the comfort of their homes.
This virtual concert will feature 13 artistes around the world including acrobats giants, Wizkid and Davido who are scheduled to perform from the comfort of their homes with no specific date for now.
In making the announcement via their official social media account, NPR stated that;
Tiny Desk Celebrates Black History Month • Starting Tuesday, Feb. 2, NPR’s Music Tiny Desk will be honoring Black History Month through the lens of music, featuring 13 Tiny Desk (home) concerts by Black artists across genres. The lineup includes both emerging and established artists who will be performing a Tiny Desk concert for the first time.
Other international stars on the list are Meshell Ndegeocello, Kirk Franklin, 2 Chainz, Giveon, KeiyaA, Sampa The Great, Melanie Charles, Bartees Strange, Wynton Marsalis, Rick Ross, Immanuel Wilkins, and Rae Khalil
