The captain of West Ham United, Declan Rice is one of the most sort after midfielders in the Premier League ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The London club rejected Manchester City's £90 million bid for their most wanted player. Fabrizio Romano confirmed this on his official Twitter account on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
Declan Rice has been on the radar of Arsenal since the end of the 2022/23 season as they are looking for a possible replacement for Granit Xhaka who might be joining Bayer Leverkusen. However, the Premier League Champions joined in the race to sign the England international following the exit of Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona.
Arsenal have seen two of their bids for Rice rejected and they are reportedly set to submit a third bid. However, West Ham have placed £100 million as the valuation on the player.
Rice is open to joining either the Gunners or the Cityzens as long as they are ready to meet the Hammers asking price but the club with the better personal terms will also be key when he wants to make his decision.
