Pep Guardiola Sets Premier League Record

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola, set a new Premier League record following City's victory over Aston Villa on Tuesday, December 1st, 2021 at the Villa Park.

The Spaniard's victory over Villa made him the fastest manager in the Premier League to reach 150 wins ahead of Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, and Arsene Wenger. Guardiola needed just 204 League games to achieve that feat.

Mourinho, who is placed second on the ranking, needed 230 games to get himself 150 wins. He achieved the feat while at Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham. Former Manchester United's manager Sir Alex is third on the list with 247 games while former Arsenal manager is fourth on the list with 258 games.

Manchester City's win ensured they remained in second place with 32 points behind league leaders, Chelsea, who have 33 points. Liverpool are third with 32 points while West Ham completes the top 4 with 24 points.
