Perez said in an interview with RMC Sport on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021. He said the club will have to wait till next year before they will have news on Mbappe.

My remarks were incorrectly interpreted. What I said was that we have to wait until next year to have news and still with the respect and a good relationship with PSG that we have good relations.

Real Madrid submitted a bid of €200 million during the last transfer window to sign the French player but PSG did not respond to the bid submitted by the Galacticos.

Mbappe is in the last year of his contract, he will leave for free if he fails to sign a new deal before the season runs out.
