Canada based Gospel Singer, Rachael Owojori releases new single, "Jesus Calls Me Friend", a song which reminds listeners about the love of Jesus, his promises and his supremacy.
In the single, The Canada Glass Award nominee, who recently toured some states in Nigeria, describes how Jesus doesn’t forget those who are lonely and embraces them.
The song was produced by Adewole Adesanya (Mr.Wols) and the video directed by Award-winning Oluyinka Davids (iFocus) in collaboration with Canada based director, Kingsley Ejidike.
The video was shot both in Nigeria and Canada and the audio version is available in major digital stores including Itunes, Amazon Music, Google Play, YouTube Music, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster (beta), iHeartRadio (beta), ClaroMúsica, Saavn, Anghami (beta, KKBox (beta) and MediaNet and 150+ smaller outlets.

About Rachael Owojori
Rachael Taiwo Owojori nee Akintola was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, into the family of Elder and Deaconess Akintola. She was born a twin. After the creation of Osun State, her family moved to Osogbo the capital of Osun State Nigeria where she had the rest of her primary and secondary school education.
Rachael studied nursing at the School of Nursing Osogbo, Nigeria and midwifery at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. She later had her Nursing degree at Grand Canyon University, USA.
Rachael is currently a registered nurse in Canada.
Rachael is a gospel singer, songwriter and drama minister. She has an exceptional, alluring and unique voice. She started singing from age eight in the children's choir and later joined the student choir in a group called Gospel Student Fellowship.
She became the first Choir director in RCCG, Desire of Nations, Stellenbosch, South Africa and she is presently the Zonal head of the Drama unit at RCCG Jesus House for All Nations, Saskatoon Canada. She is passionate about music that can transform lives and win the soul into God’s kingdom.
Her music is a diverse combination of contemporary, African High life with a blend of R&B rhythms.
In addition, Rachael has composed many songs including the eight songs in her album titled, Let’s Praise him.
Rachael is set to release her second album in 2020. She just concluded Nigeria tour which includes concerts, motivational talks, Open-air crusade, Radio and Television interviews, a visit to the orphanage and donations to the less privileged. Her desire in the coming years is to take the gospel of Christ to other countries of the world.
She is desirous to see the less privileged, orphans and widows were taken care of.
Rachael Owojori is married to Dr. Gbenga Owojori and they have three lovely children.
