The rapper is of the opinion that the public needs to do better instead of throwing Wizkid under the bus for his views on rap.

Nigerian elite rapper Ogunmefun Olanrewaju, popularly known as Vector, has reacted to the conversation going around that he is dropping a diss song for Wizkid.

Recall that Afrobeats superstar Wizkid, in a recent interview with a British magazine, made it known that he doesn't listen to rap anymore because he believes the genre is boring and dead, a statement that got a lot of reactions, including from Nigerian rappers like M.I.Blaqbonez, LadipoeOladips, and others. Following the reactions, Wizkid went on to broke-shame Nigerian rappers, calling them "dumb f**ks" as well.

Asked about his thoughts on the Wizkid comment, Vector made it known that everybody is guilty in the "rap is dead" conversation and Wizkid shouldn't be the one taking all that bash. According to Vector, even people who are supposed to be patronizing Nigerian rap music don't pay attention.

Highlighting his initial point, Vector made it known that if the public were paying attention to the genre as they claim, they would have known that he dropped the song even before Wizkid made the hip-hop comment.
