Mavin Records has officially unveiled its newest signee, Cupid Fszn, launching the young artist’s career with the release of his debut EP, Myth Era.
The announcement was made by label founder Don Jazzy, who shared a heartfelt story of persistence and talent that led to the signing.
Don Jazzy revealed that the journey began four years ago when a father sent him a demo of his 17-year-old son’s music, a message he initially missed due to an overflowing inbox. Despite the setback, Cupid Fszn continued to develop his craft, eventually catching the attention of the Mavin team two years later.
The 21-year-old artist honed his skills at the Mavin Academy, the label’s talent development program credited with shaping stars like Rema, Ayra Starr, and Magixx. After excelling in the program, Cupid Fszn is now ready to make his formal debut on the global stage.
Myth Era marks the official introduction of the newest signee, Cupid Fszn to fans and showcases a fresh sound that promises to add new energy to Mavin Records’ already diverse lineup. With the EP now available, the label highlights its continued focus on nurturing homegrown talent and shaping the future of African music.
