Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, also known as Kizz Daniel, narrates how bullying as a child has made it difficult for him to socialise.

The Buga singer revealed this in the most recent episode of the Afrobeats Podcast, which premiered on September 21, 2023, and was hosted by Adesope Olajide. He revealed that he was chubby as a child, which caused other kids to bully and mock him. This resulted in him creating his own world in his mind, which has influenced his social interactions.

He said, “I have built a world of my own in my head since I was little. Because growing up, I was a fat kid. I was chubby. So, I don’t go out because the kids in the area make fun of me. They called me "orobo" (someone who is fat). And they bullied me. So I always stay indoors, during that time that I always stayed indoors, I’d already built this fantasy world in my head. In the world that I have built in my head, I’m very comfortable in that space. So, I reintroduced myself to the world after I lost weight; I lost all forms of social skills. I don’t know how to communicate. I don’t know how to socialize with people.” Kizz Daniel added that he takes alcohol sometimes to be able to deal with social anxieties.

The award-winning artist also gave reasons why his recent album Maverick consists of 20 tracks as against the 7-12 tracks other artists are used to.

He revealed that he did so because had so many songs and he stated "I am a studio rat with too many songs and I can put 50 tracks in one album".
