Nigerian singer Jaywon has honored the memory of legendary musician Sound Sultan with a heartfelt visit to his graveside.
On social media, Jaywon shared touching photos from the graveside visit, celebrating Sound Sultan's enduring legacy and impact on the music industry.
"At the resting place of a mentor, where wisdom, guidance, and inspiration now lay in eternal peace. Gone, but forever a part of us. Keep resting, @soundsultan, forever," Jaywon wrote.
Meanwhile, Sound Sultan passed away in 2021 at 44 after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
The late singer's remarkable career spanned over two decades, beginning with his breakout single Jagbajantis in the early 2000s. Also, he went on to release seven albums, four of which were under Kennis Music, solidifying his position as a leading figure in Nigerian music.
