Rising Star Libianca passionately expressed her disappointment at not clinching victory on The Voice in 2021.

Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji revealed her feelings over the fact that she did not win the American reality show, The Voice. During an interview on Channels TV, The Morning Brief Libianca gave an insight into her time on The Voice in 2021. Libianca competed in the reality series in 2021. She blew the judges away with her rendition of SZA's Good Days.

During the fifth night of blind auditions, Ariana hit her red button and began cheering the Minneapolis native on. Not long after, though, Blake Shelton swiveled around in his red chair, and the two coaches eyed each other as the contestant finished the song. Although Kelly Clarkson and John Legend struggled with her song choice.

The rising star made it to the live play-off of the contest with country singer Blake Shelton as her coach. When asked why she chose Blake Shelton over Ariana Grande as all viewers expected her to, she said "I chose Blake because I prayed over it. I had to talk to God. I can't make any decisions. He (Blake) led me through strategy. Ariana's team is full of high belters that are high range and people love that. I am low-girl so I need to go where I will stand out".

During the live playoffs, Libianca performed her rendition of Everything I Wanted by Billie Eilish and everyone expected her to win. Unfortunately, she didn't and when asked how she left about that moment she said, "I was mad because that morning when I got up to warm up, my manager was on the phone telling me girl I had a dream; I was confetti fall and everything. I know I am winning this but that night I got eliminated. Over time there's a reason for everything".
