Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck has revealed how much he’s paying Tems for a feature.
This announcement came during his appearance on skit maker, Isbae U's podcast, 'Curiosity Made Me Ask,' on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. When asked if he would consider having Tems on his album if she lowered her charges, the rapper enthusiastically agreed.
During the podcast, Odumodublvck disclosed that he has already paid a portion of Tems' fee and intends to gradually fulfill the remaining payments. Notably, Tems reportedly charges a substantial $500,000 which is about 45 million naira (at 900 naira per dollar) for a feature, prompting the rapper to adopt a 25-year payment plan. He mentioned having paid an initial sum of N10,000 and expressed his commitment to continue making payments over the next quarter-century.
The rapper's revelation comes on the heels of a recent social media dispute between Odumodublvck and Tems after he publicly voiced his surprise at her $500,000 feature fee. The unfolding drama sheds light on the financial dynamics and negotiations within the music industry, with Odumodublvck's unique approach to compensating Tems for her musical collaboration making headlines.
