Nigerian singer, Davido's Ogechi Remix has been removed from YouTube due to copyright challenges.

Nigerian music superstar Davido has found himself at the center of a copyright controversy on YouTube.

The music video for Davido's viral wedding song, Ogechi Remix, has been removed from the platform due to copyright challenges.

The song, which features Davido alongside BoyPee, Hyce, and Brown Joel, was released on June 25, 2024, to coincide with his lavish wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, the music video, uploaded on July 19, 2024, showcased Davido's love for his wife, Chioma, and her Igbo heritage. However, the video's removal from Davido's YouTube channel has sparked commotion online.

According to reports, Davido is not credited as the official artist on the song's YouTube page, adding to the mystery. Also, it appears that the original version of Ogechi was composed by another artist before the remix. Furthermore, the audio of the song remains available on BoyPee's official YouTube channel, but the video featuring Davido is no longer accessible.

Additionally, the copyright dispute has left fans wondering about the future of the song and the collaboration between Davido and the other artists involved. Although, Davido's team ie yet to comment on the issue. This leaves the music world eagerly awaiting a resolution to the controversy.
