Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed an ambitious lineup of projects and performances for 2026, including his highly anticipated debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the release of new music, and the continued success of his hit track Kante in the United States.

Speaking during a recent event, the global music icon described his schedule for the year as “very, very busy” and “so crazy,” highlighting his commitment to both international and domestic audiences.

Davido will perform at Coachella for the first time, taking the stage on Saturday, April 11, and Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. He will be the sole Nigerian act on the festival’s lineup, marking a historic moment for Afrobeats and reinforcing his status as a global headliner. The festival spans two weekends, April 10–12 and April 17–19, offering the perfect platform for the star to showcase his energetic performances and signature Afrobeats sound to an international audience.

In addition to his festival appearances, Davido confirmed that new music is on the way, although it may not be a full album. Fans can expect fresh releases that will continue to cement his global presence. He also celebrated the ongoing success of his album Timeless, noting that the song Kante is gaining major traction in the US market.

The announcement comes on the heels of a series of recent accolades for Davido. At the 2025 Headies Awards, he won Artist of the Year and Digital Artiste of the Year, outperforming competitors including Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Rema. He also earned the Best Global Collaboration award at the 2025 Africa Arts Entertainment Awards alongside American singer Chris Brown for their song Hmm.

With a packed schedule, a historic Coachella debut, and new music on the horizon, Davido is positioning 2026 as a defining year in his career and a landmark moment for Afrobeats on the global stage.
