Burna Boy sets a new record for African artists in Canada

Grammy award-winning singer and performer Burna Boy has set a new record for Nigerian and African artists with his latest feat in Canada.

The singer who took his 'I Told Them' tour to Toronto Canada became the first African artist to sell out the 19000 capacity Scotiabank Arena back to back for two days in a row.

Burna Boy who is currently on tour sold out the Scotiabank Arena for two nights which were February 24 and 25, 2024, a feat that has never been replicated by an African artist at that venue of such magnitude and capacity in Canada.

On Saturday, February 24, 2024, the singer performed at the iconic venue teasing fans about an upcoming project as he took to the stage to perform an unreleased song on the night. This however was not the only highlight on the first day, the singer who also had a sold-out concert in Chicago also belted a medley of some of his biggest hit songs on the night.

Burna did not show any signs of tiredness or fatigue on the second sold-out day as the singer took to the stage to create a unique experience for fans who had paid to watch the singer who is known for his unforgettable live performances take the stage once again.
