Afrobeat continues its global rise as Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, secures a feature with a notable artist.
Earlier today, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, social media, X was set abuzz when Bob Marley's grandson, YG Marley, teased fans with Burna Boy's verse on his international track, Praise Jah in the Moonlight.
The reggae song Crisis, which features samples of Bob Marley's music, was released on December 27, 2023. In a viral video on X, YG Marley is seen in a room with friends as Praise Jah in the Moonlight plays in the background. The excitement was palpable when Burna Boy's verse began, with YG Marley's friends visibly thrilled by the collaboration.
This feature follows Burna Boy's recent appearance in the viral song Tshwala Bam by South African artists TitoM and Yuppe, a collaboration that reportedly replaced a verse by Davido.
