The film was released on September 22, 2023. Since its inception, Black Book has become the most-watched African film on Netflix. Produced by Anakle Films, Kemi Lala Akindoju, and directed by Editi Effiong, the Black Book dives into the inner machinations of police brutality, corruption, and journalism. Richard Mofe Damijo led the entire ensemble with his iconic lines and terrific fighting skills.
