Black Sherif becomes the second Ghanaian to win the BET HipHop Award for Best International Flow!
Ghanaian sensation, Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong popularly known as Black Sherif won his first BET award for Best International Flow at the 2023 Hip Hop Awards hosted in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 23, 2023. The Award show was recorded on Tuesday and will be shown live on October 10, 2023.

In this category, Black Sherif defeated eight other competitors, including prominent musicians Central Cee, Gazo, J Hus, and AKA. Black Sherif is Ghana's second International Flow category winner following Sarkodie's win in 2019. With his most famous song, Kwaku the Traveller, playing in the background, Black Sherif walked the stage to accept his award.
Remember that Black Sherif was nominated in the Best International Flow category at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2022 alongside Benjamin Epps (France), Central Cee (UK), Blxckie (South Africa), Haviah Mighty (Canada), Knucks (UK), Le Juiice (France), Nadia Nakai (Zimbabwe), and Tasha & Tracie (Brazil). Benjamin Epps was named the winner of the 'Best International Flow' award in 2022.
