Tanzanian superstar Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa famously known as Rayvanny has recently been applauded after his song titled Happy Birthday was used by La Liga to wish Karim Benzema a happy birthday.
Rayvanny released his song Happy Birthday August 2021, which has so far amassed about 6 Million views on YouTube, marking another time that a Tanzanian artist has released a "Happy Birthday" song. Harmonize also released a birthday song in 2018.
On their Instagram page, La Liga in a video meant to wish Karim Benzema, a French player who was turning 35 years old, they used the "Happy Birthday" song by Rayvanny to pass the message and as reactions from fans spread as wildfire across social media, Rayvanny commented on the post with Tanzanian flags and added "Sound Global way.
Even before leaving WCB Wasafi, on various occasions, Rayvanny, has been getting international notoriety as he is so far the only Tanzanian artist to win a BET Award and became the first African act to perform at the MTV EMA.
