Diamond Platnumz announces upcoming collaboration with Abdu Kiba
Diamond Platnumz, the Tanzanian singer and songwriter, has revealed that an upcoming collaboration with fellow Tanzanian artist Abdu Kiba is on the horizon.
Diamond Platnumz’s announcement comes just days after a trending video surfaced, depicting Abdu Kiba and Diamond Platnumz dancing and grooving to Ali Kiba's Sumu song. Notably, Ali Kiba is Abdu Kiba's elder brother.
This video sparked controversy across social media due to the ongoing rivalry between Diamond Platnumz and the Kibas music empires.

During a press conference to introduce Wasafi Festival 2023, Diamond Platnumz revealed that the much-anticipated collaboration with Abdu Kiba might be released either before or during the festival tour.
“I was talking to my pal Abdu Kiba, it's possible that before the festival (Wasafi Festival) starts, he will drop his song that I have been featured in. The song might drop before or in the middle of the festival and I believe he might be one of the people that will perform in the festival”, said the singer.
Diamond Platnumz's announcement has triggered a significant buzz on social media, particularly due to the context that Abdu Kiba is under the King Music label owned by Ali Kiba. This label rivalry often intertwines with Diamond Platnumz's WCB Wasafi.
