The Spaniard was speaking at a press conference in the United States of America where the team are currently having their pre-season training. According to Guardiola the Ukrainian has left the club and they were able to say goodbye to him unlike Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus who left during the summer break.
Zinchenko is a player with a lot of experience and will be a good addition to the Arsenal team if the deal sees the light of day. He joined Manchester City from Russian club FC Ufa and has won a lot of titles under the management of Pep Guardiola.
The Cityzens are in the transfer market for a new left-back, with Brighton and Hove Albion's Marc Cucurella as a possible replacement for the 25-year-old. Arsenal had earlier signed Gabriel Jesus from the home of the Premier League champions as they look to beef up their team ahead of the new season.
