The club football governing body in Europe, UEFA, has announced the men's coach of the year 2022 at the champions league 2022/2023 draw.
Following the confirmation of teams that would be facing each other in the 2022/2023 Champions league season today, Thursday, August 25, 2022, UEFA has also confirmed the coach of the year 2022 at the same event.
The head coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, who overcame all odds, has been announced as the UEFA coach of the year following his side's performance in the 2021/2022 champions league competition that saw them receive the crown as the champions of Europe as well as the champions of Spain.
Real Madrid would be looking to replicate their form last season and defend their title as the champions league would commence in September 2022. Real Madrid would face tough opponents in the new season following the team announcements in the UEFA Champions League Draw.
