Ten Hag speaks about his future as manager of Man United

Following reports and speculations on his possible departure from Man United, manager Erik Ten Hag has spoken on his future for the first time since the Chelsea defeat.

Erik Ten Hag in his latest pre-match press conference ahead of the highly anticipated Man United vs Liverpool fixture has addressed questions about his future at the club following initial reports and rumours of a possible sack at the end of the 2023/2024 club football season.

In his latest interview with Sky Sports, Erik Ten Hag insists that he would remain the manager of Manchester United in the 2024/2025 club football season assuring fans that this is a decision the board will stick to.

The manager of Manchester United, who recently expressed his disinterest towards the rumors linking United with Gareth Southgate, once again stated that he expects to stay at Old Trafford for the upcoming season, following Thursday's disappointing loss against Chelsea.

He said, "I don't have any doubts. I'm just focusing on my job, focusing on this process, in this project. I really love to be here, I'm enjoying it. For me it's a challenge."

This is however not the first time a manager wouold feel reassured about his position and end up getting sacked by the club Graham Potter spoke of being reassured of his role at the club but ended up getting sacked before the end of the season.

From all indication Sir Jim Ratcliffe led INEOS have all intentions of turning things around at Old Trafford and it is left to be seen at the end of the 2023/2024 season if Erik Ten Hag would be part of that future at Man United.
