A Saudi Arabia Group have reportedly made an offer of £2.7bn to buy Chelsea Football Club following the recent decision of Roman Abramovich wanting to sell the club.

Renowned journalist, Ben Jacobs confirmed the news on his official Twitter account on Monday, March 14th, 2022. According to the tweet, Mohamed Alkhereiji is a Chelsea fan and a leading consortium, he also does not have any direct link with the Saudi Arabian government.

Chelsea was put up for sale following the decision by the Uk government to freeze all the assets of Roman Abramovich which includes the club. The Blues have been in crisis last week as they lost two of their recent shirts sponsors which include ( Three and Hyundai).

Roman Abramovich has, however, given the green light that the club should be sold. He will not make any profit from the sale of the club according to the UK government. Chelsea fans will hope the deal to buy the club is sorted out soon so the contracts of Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta is also sorted out as soon as possible.
