The future of the Polish striker has been in limbo since the end of the last football season after he told the board of directors at Bayern that he wants to leave the club. Transfer News expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the striker will leave Bayern this transfer window ahead of the new season

The Bundesliga club have remained adamant that Lewandowski was not for sale and they ascertained he will be at the club next season. The Cataluyna club will pay €50 million, plus add-ons included, he will sign a three-year deal which will keep him at the club until 2025.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain were interested in signing the striker but the 33-year-old has always made it clear that he wants to join Barcelona.
