Wales have booked their qualification for the FIFA World Cup that will be hosted in Qatar later this year.

Wales beat Ukraine 1-0 courtesy of a deflected Gareth Bale goal from a freekick in the first half of the game which was played in Cardiff on Sunday, June 5th, 2022. Ukraine qualified to play Wales in the final playoff game, following a victory over Scotland midweek.
This is the first time Wales will qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 64 years, the last time they qualified was during the 1958 World Cup which was hosted in Sweden.
Wales has now qualified for three of the last four tournaments, they will face England, the USA and Iran in the group stage of the competition.
