Guardiola was speaking in a press conference ahead of this weekend's premier league game. According to a tweet from City Xtra, the official Twitter account of news that concerns Manchester City, the Spaniard said, if a player is not happy at a club, then he is allowed to leave for a place where he will find happiness.
He also confirmed that Manchester City will not sign a striker during the January transfer window to replace Torres.
If you are not happy, you have to leave. We are not a club like other teams when you want to leave and the owner says no. If Ferran wants to leave and go to Barcelona, absolutely no problem, I am happy for him. Ferran is from Spain, Barcelona wants him, he said he wants to leave; I called Txiki. His agent makes a deal, and he is leaving. I want players to be happy.
The 21-year-old has been down the pecking order since the start of the season. He has played just four league games and scored only two goals for the cityzens.
