The manager of the Cityzens, Pep Guardiola confirmed that the Norwegian might be available for this weekend's game against the foxes. According to him, Haaland is already feeling better but he will be accessed during the club's next training session.
He feels better, we have training this afternoon and assess. If [Erling] Haaland doesn’t play, then [Julian] Alvarez is the natural first option to replace him. I don’t judge Julian on how many goals he has scored.
Guardiola also spoke about the goal-scoring ratio of Alvarez compared to Haaland since the start of the season.
