Former Manchester United's manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has addressed the club for the last time following the termination of his contract.

Solskjaer who was speaking in an interview on the Manchester United website said it was a great privilege to have worked at the club and he is happy to have made good friends at the club.
I have had the opportunity and I am so honoured and privileged to have been trusted to take the club forward and I hope that I leave it in a better state than when I came. I have made some great friends, I have reconnected with some great friends. I have become really good friends with some new staff that are coming in. The fans have also been amazing from day 1 at Cardiff till the last moment. Till we see each other again.
The 48-year-old was sacked after he failed to lead his team to victory against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday, November 20th, 2021. The club had since announced that Michael Carrick will act as interim manager pending when a new manager will be sorted out.
