According to reports from BBC Sports, Manchester United's newly appointed Interim manager, Ralf Rangnick will have to finalise his work permit which will give him the ability to work in England. He also has to observe Covid-19 isolation protocols before he can join the team.

The announcement was made on the Red Devils official website on Monday, November 29th. According to the statement released by the club, the German was the club's first candidate to take over on interim when the club failed to get a manager permanently.

According to Manchester United's director of football, John Murtough, he said Ralf was the club's first option for an interim following the sack of Solskjaer.

Ralf is one of the most respected coaches and innovators in European football. He was our number one candidate for an interim manager, reflecting the invaluable leadership and technical skills he will bring from almost four decades of experience in management and coaching.

Everyone at the club is looking forward to working with him during the season ahead and them for a further two years in his advisory role.

Manchester United fans will hope his appointment brings wins their way as they have won just one game in their last eight Premier League games.
