Manchester United are reportedly set to open talks with midfield maestro, Christian Eriksen on a free transfer ahead of the new season.

The Danish player does not look like he will sign a new contract with Brentford despite the fantastic form he was on with the Bees last season. According to reports from the Athletic, Manchester United have made an official bid for Eriksen after his contract expires on June 30th, 2022.
The 30-year-old helped Brentford survive relegation as they were able to win seven games from the 11 appearances he had for the club.The London side are interested in extending Eriksen"s contract but he is keen on weighing his options before committing his future to any other club.
