The supporters of Manchester City have been left with worries ahead of their clash against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

The Cityzens will be without its top-class defender, Nathan Ake in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. This was confirmed in the squad list that was released on the club's official website.

However, City will take solace in the strength of other players that will be available to fill in the void left by Ake. They will also rely on their form of their arguably best player of this season, Erling Haaland.

The manager of the club, Pep Guardiola has also confirmed that his team is not going into the game with revenge in mind.

We arrive here with encouragement. The way we play was really good. We're not here for revenge, just another opportunity.

Manchester City will be looking to win the Champions League for the first time in their history but they must get past Real Madrid to achieve that feat this season.
