After defeating Arsenal in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semifinals, Liverpool will face Chelsea in the competition's final on Sunday, February 24th, 2022.
The in-form Diogo Jota propelled Liverpool straight into the finals of the Carabao Cup as the Merseyside club is set to face Chelsea, who completed a double-win against their opponents Tottenham in the competition.
Diogo Jota, who gave a praiseworthy performance, scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Arsenal. The game was totally dominated by Liverpool after a shaky start in the first 15 minutes of the tie.
Arsenal managed to create chances through Bukayo Saka, Smith-Rowe and Lacazette but failed to convert the chances created. Arsenal were reduced to just 10 men in the 90th minute after Thomas Partey collected his second yellow card of the game after coming on as a substitute in the second half of the encounter.
