Super Eagles player, Kelechi Nwakali has released an official statement concerning the termination of his contract at Spanish club side, Huesca.

Huesca announced on its official website on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, that the Nwakali's contract which was expected to expire in June 2022 was terminated. The Nigerian took to his official Twitter account on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 to explain what transpired between himself and the club.
Nwakali, according to his statement confirmed that he has been treated unfairly by the club since he got the invitation to represent Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations which was hosted in Cameroon. He also confirmed that he was forced out of the first team and was asked to train alone without the club's training facilities and equipments.
The decision to terminate his contract forcefully came as a result of him refusing to sign a termination contract.
