The manager of Liverpool Football Club, Jurgen Klopp has spoken about his team's performance away from home this season ( 2022/23).
The German was speaking in an interview which was reported by Football Daily ahead of the Reds league game against Leeds United. Liverpool have been a shadow of themselves compared to their performances in the last few seasons.
When we play at home, we could squeeze result out without playing our absolute top-level football, that is the situation. We have to play in better football to have consistency. The difference between away and home is not that big. We never had this kind of issue in all of our successful seasons. We had an impressive away record and that’s what you need.
The Reds are currently in eighth position on the league table with 44 points after playing 29 games. Supporters of the club will hope they can finish in a UEFA Champions League spot at the end of this season.
