The former captain of Chelsea Football Club, Gary Cahill has announced his retirement from the beautiful game of football.

Cahill announced the news of his retirement on his official social media accounts on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022. According to the Englishman, he decided to hang his boots after knowing he gave his best to the game.
The centre-back moved to Crystal Palace and then Bournemouth but he enjoyed most of his success as a footballer while he was playing for Chelsea. He won two Premier League titles with the Blues and was part of the team that won the UEFA Champions League in 2012.
He was also part of the PFA Premier League team for three seasons( 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2016/17 season.
