Following reports of growing interest of top clubs in the signing of Napoli's Victor Osimhen popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has clarified why Chelsea who were favourites to sign him had pulled out of the transfer deal as soon as the June 2024 transfer window was confirmed open.

Fabrizio indicates that if Osimhen reduces his wage demand Chelsea will make a move for the Nigerian international.
