Erik Ten Hag confirms absence of first-team player ahead of FA Cup final

The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag, has confirmed that Harry Maguire will miss the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

Ten Hag made the announcement during a pre-match press conference ahead of the Cup match against the 2023/24 Premier League Champions. According to the Dutchman, Harry Maguire will miss the FA Cup game, but he will have the services of some players who have been injured for some weeks.

He stated,

"Harry Maguire is unavailable, but Mount, Lindelof, and Martial are available."

There have been reports that Ten Hag might be leaving Old Trafford at the end of this current season. When asked about the possibility of the FA Cup being his final game for Manchester United.

Ten Hag said,

"I have nothing to say. Just focusing on first winning the game on Saturday and then the project, keep going with the project."

Despite finishing eighth on the league table, the fans will hope they can win the game against Manchester City to secure a spot in the Europa League next season.
