CHELSEA SET TO LOSE NEWLY SIGNED STRIKER ON A PERMANENT DEAL

The Red Devils were beaten by Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday, August 7th, 2022. Ten Hag also found his name in the history books of Manchester United for the wrong reasons as he became the first manager of the club to lose his first Premier League game. The last manager to achieve such a feat was his fellow countryman, Louis Van Gaal who lost his opening game to Swansea in August 2014

There was optimism coming into the game for Manchester United following the appointment of a new manager but things seem to be the same as the last dispensation. The Old Trafford club will have to be very active in the remaining days of the transfer window.

Ten Hag is yet to get his preferred player to Old Trafford in the person of Barcelona's midfielder, Frenkie de Jong. However, the player has remained adamant that he does not want to leave the Catalonia club.
