Chelsea's head coach Graham Potter has opened up on him choosing his first-choice goalkeeper in Mendy and Kepa.

Kepa and Mendy

Graham Potter, in his UEFA Champions League pre-match conference, which was held today, Tuesday, October 4, 2022, revealed his thoughts on who would be the first-choice goalkeeper at Chelsea at the moment.

The head coach opened up that with games coming in thick and fast, he is not focused on who is number one or not, as his main goal is to focus on helping Kepa Arrizabalaga enjoy the best football he can enjoy now following his immense display in the premier league match against Crystal Palace.

Potter went on to add that he is also focused on helping Edouard Mendy recover fully from his injury and stay fully fit in the coming days. He also didn't indicate who would be in goal for Chelsea against AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday, October 4, 2022.

With the two goalkeepers now fit, Graham Potter might be faced with the toughest task yet since he joined the blues as to who would be in goal for him at Chelsea. Mendy's season has been full of errors, and Kepa would be looking to give the coach what to think of as he has pulled two solid performances back to back for the new manager.
